The Organizing Committee of the 52nd White Trail, after inspecting the tracks on the Northern and Southern Circuit, decided that due to the inconsistent snow cover and the safety of the competitors on these tracks, the race will NOT be held.

We are sincerely sorry that for the second year in a row, nature did not allow us to race in the full profile of 50 km, 25 km freestyle and 30 km classic technique.

Despite the lack of snow in the Kremnické vrchy Mountains, the Organizing Committee of the 52nd White Trail decided at yesterday’s meeting that it WILL ORGANIZE the race on Skalka at the Rudolf Čilík Stadium and the tracks in its vicinity.

Participants of the 52nd Biela Stopa can look forward to a new race format. The untraditionally traditional Biela Stopa will be “HOUR”.

What does this mean?

According to the number of registered competitors, we will start them on the track in a limited number of about 50 competitors. We will prepare the track according to the technical possibilities and the amount of snow. The competitors will ride on the circuit for 1 hour (time will be measured by chips) and try to complete the highest number of laps. After 60 minutes and the last competitor from the pack has reached the finish line, another group will line up at the start, which will have 1 hour of riding ahead of them, and we will continue like this until all competitors complete the race.

On Saturday, there will be no 50 km and 25 km disciplines. There will be only one “Hour” free technique race. The categories remain unchanged.

On Sunday, the same track will be prepared, the same “Hour” format and we believe that there will be enough snow to make a track for the classic technique.

The Junior Biela Stopa will also take place on Sunday.

We believe that a different race format will appeal to you and, despite the lack of snow and training opportunities, you will come to Skalka near Kremnica on March 1st – 2nd and tackle the challenge of the NON-TRADITIONAL TRADITIONAL BIELA STOPA.

In the event of a miracle of nature and a minimum of 40 cm of snow by February 27th, 2025, the 52nd Biela Stopa will be in the standard format.
